Youth Event: Bonfire night – this Friday!

Extended Q and A – After Sunday@6 22nd July

Hey parents, I hope you’re all enjoying the first week of term 3! Following our service this Sunday; 7.20 pm – 8 pm, 22nd July, we will be having an extended time of Q and A. This is a great opportunity to ask a panel of Sunday@6 goers questions about this week’s talk and anything else God related. We hope to see many youth hang around! Andi  

Goodbye dinner for Tim – after Sunday@6 15th July

Hey parents! After our service this Sunday; 7.30 pm – 15th July, we’ll be heading over to the Windy Mile Cafe across the road to farewell Tim before he goes on long service leave. All are welcome to join. Meals are around $20-$25 if you are wondering how much to bring along. Andi

Sunday@6 dinner in term 3

Hey parents! In term 3 there will be two pre-service dinners. Note, this is different to the fortnightly routine we had in term 2. The dates are August 12 and September 9. Dinner is at 5pm in the St John’s foyer, we recommend bringing a $5 donation to help us cover costs Thanks, Andi

G’day Parents, Our senior minister, Tim Johnson, is about to go on long service leave. I will be acting senior minister while he is away. Our Community

Long Weekend Kids’ Programs

Dear St John’s Parents, It’s a long weekend! Hopefully that means you all get to sit back and relax a bit at some stage. If you are wondering whether we run our kids’ programs on long weekends, the answer is YES! At both the 9:30am and Sunday@6 services, there is teaching and activities planned. So unless you are away for the weekend, please come and join us as usual.

Sunday@6 timing changes

G’day Parents, We’ve made a few structural changes to our Sunday@6 services that I wanted to let you know about. Previously we aimed to finish at 7:30pm. Starting now and going till at least the end of term 3 (when we’ll review) we’re aiming to finish our services between 7pm and 7:10. Here’s a few quick reasons we’re trying this out: Slightly shorter services may be a bit more accessible for visitors who have limited church experience. Earlier finish makes…
