Tim is on long service leave until September. Tim is married to Anna and they have three children Abi, Emily & Sam. He’s been our Senior Minister since 2013 and has served in different ministry positions for over 20 years. Tim is committed to mission and trains preachers with Langham Partners in PNG. Kirk is acting as “Locum Vicar” while Tim is on leave. Basically, he’s in charge until September. Kirk was on track to become a radio megastar (or at least bringing the megastars their coffee) when Jesus intervened in his life in many amazing ways. Choosing to follow Jesus is the best thing I’ve ever done! Living life trusting in God and yielded to His Way, has at times been like participating in an extreme sport with risk, adventure and adrenalin. Other times it’s been more like enjoying the richest of feasts with loved ones, where there’s no shortage of vibrance, joy and colour! Children & Families
Kylie caught the travel bug early in life, perhaps from growing up in PNG and travelling with her family, so it was not surprising that she began her working life in the travel industry. After a break from the workforce, to begin raising a family, Kylie joined the staff team at St John’s in 2010, and in 2018 stepped into the Children and Families Minister role. Ros joined our team in 2016 after serving for several years as a Chaplain to Austin Health. She is passionate about pastoral care which flows out of her experience in nursing and chaplaincy. Ros is married to Murray and they have four grown children and five delighful grandchildren. Ros studied at Ridley Theological College and also holds a Master of Nursing degree. She is also and accredited Pastoral Supervisor.
Sam loves helping people get to know Jesus, loves his wife Rhonnie, and loves the Carlton Football Club. He has been serving in ministry since 2012, and is training to be an Anglican minister at Ridley College. Sam and Rhonnie are members of our 8:00am and 9:30am congregations.
