Can you help bless a youth leader?

G’day Parents, This year our Youth Unite team have planned an extra event just for youth leaders. Leaders volunteer so much of their time and energy to serve our young people and their families, that we wanted to do something special to thank them. We also want to help churches better equip their leaders for ministry and to provide opportunities for them to interact with leaders from other churches. So, on June 29 we will be holding a Leadership Dinner…

What’s on for Youth in Term 2?

With so many churches struggling to engage young people and with increasing pressure on young people to reject Christianity completely, it’s encouraging to be a part of our church where young people are both present and growing in their relationship with Jesus. As the Youth Minister at our church, I love seeing our young people step up to serve, share their faith with their friends and seek to apply God’s word to every part of their lives. It was a…

Youth Life Groups have started

G’day Parents, Our Youth Life Groups have either started this week or will start next week. As is expected, it’s been a bit of a juggling act with time slots and leaders but we think we’ve got three pretty great groups starting out this year. There is still plenty of time to join a group so I thought I’d post the basics here for you to see. There are two groups meeting on Tuesday nights (at separate locations), one boys…

Intergenerational Church: What is it and how do we do it?

G’day Parents, Our current preaching series is looking at the key points in our Vision 2022 document. The first point is that we’ll be an Intergenerational Community. If you missed my talk on it I recommend catching up and listening to it online as it’s directly related to our church’s ministry with kids and their families. Expect to hear more about this topic as the year goes on. Also, Camp Crave is now 10 days away. You can book your…
