150th Thanksgiving Appeal

Every year at St John’s we hold a Thanksgiving Appeal as an expression of thankfulness and love to God for his faithfulness and goodness to us. It is an opportunity to show generosity in giving over and above our regular gifts. It is a powerful expression of our dependence on God, our love for him, and our thankfulness for all he has provided.

This year we are giving thanks not just for the past year but the past 150 years. On our 150-year anniversary, we are aiming to raise $150,000. We still owe money on our most recent building projects and our hope is to significantly pay down these loans and free up money for mission and ministry. If we reach our target we will release an extra $425 each month for these purposes.

To contribute to this appeal via online banking, please transfer your funds to:

St. John’s Anglican Church, BSB  063 246, Acc. No.  10060757, Reference: 150 Appeal

Alternatively, for cash or cheque donations, you may take a Thanksgiving Envelope from the Welcome Table in the Church Foyer.
